Satan’s Greatest Lie
Satan says the Church will be raptured.
The truth is the Church is staying here on
this earth. Like God intended.
Christ in us.
The Father and Son dwelling in us.
Never dying.
The rapture denies the Scriptures.

Where the Rubber Meets the Road
Donald: Hey Mac, I’m hungry! How about you?
Mac: I’m starving, Donald. Why don’t we find a place at the next exit?
Donald: Sounds good to me. Hey, our names, Mac and Donald, remind me; I was reading recently about a person named MacDonald, Margaret MacDonald.
Mac: Don, I’m so hungry, I can almost envision giant, flying french fries. Who’s this, uh, Margaret MacDonald anyway?
Donald: She was a 15-year-old girl in Scotland who went into a trance or vision. In her trance, she saw the saints of the Lord lifted off the earth, sort of like your flying french fries. The vision caused a theory to spread as truth: it’s called “The Rapture.” People zinging off the earth! What a deception and lie. The “big lift off” didn’t happen in the 1800’s (in MacDonald’s time) and it’s not going to happen now! Some false teachers preach that the “Rapture” doctrine was taught by others before her vision, but the early church did not. Frankly, this is all unimportant to me.
Mac: Well, why do you say that?
Donald: Because it’s ridiculous and Satan’s greatest lie, and I can tell you why….
Mac: I don’t want to talk about it. You believe your way, and I’ll believe mine. I’m turning the radio on.
RUPTURE THE RAPTURE
Doc: This is WRMR talk radio, Where the Rubber Meets the Road, broadcasting from Nowhere, Tennessee. We are broadcasting from 888 on your dial. This is your host, Doc Jasper Ument, along with Larry Pharisee. Good morning, Larry. What’s up for today?
Larry: And good morning to you, Doc, and all you folks in Raptureland. Today we are going to talk about that great event in the sky that we all look forward to, the Catching Away, yes, “Caught Up”, into the sweet by and by. I chose this topic because I recently had a dream that none other than Charlie Looseliver went up in the clouds. And it is a true dream!
Doc: Charlie Looseliver! You’ve got to be kidding! Tell me what happened.
Larry: Well, Charlie shot up towards heaven. But within a short time I saw him falling and he didn’t have a parachute. He went splat. I ran over to him to see what happened. I said, “Charlie, why did you come back?” He replied, “I went too early. The sign I read in heaven said, ‘Post trib’.”
Doc: Okay, Larry. It sounds like Charlie was ruptured, and you, too, with that wacky dream.
Larry: Watch your tongue, Doc. Now back to today’s topic, The Rapture. Please call in at 1-800-FLY-AWAY or 1-800-359-2929.
1-800-NO-WHERE
Doc: This topic has been so controversial that it has even affected some marriages. With us in the studio today are husband and wife, Hecter and Haley Hooch. Hecter’s quite concerned that his wife, Haley, believes in the rapture. What’s the problem, Hecter?
Hecter: Well, every night my wife sleeps with her makeup and lipstick on and wearing satin slacks.
Larry: Is this true, Haley?
Haley: Yes, it is, Larry. You see, Hec knows that I don’t go anywhere without my makeup on. And if the Lord comes in the middle of the night to rapture us, I want to be fully dressed, and ready.
Larry: Yeah, Ready to Rapture!
Hecter: She always wears the same red slacks to bed. She could at least wear a nightgown sometimes, but nooo!
Doc: Why is that, Haley?
Haley: Well, I’m not stupid, Doc. I don’t want to be in nightwear when I’m caught up. Would any woman?
Larry: She does have a point, Hecter.
Hecter: But isn’t the true Christian garmented with righteousness and praise? “The bride has made herself ready” is not about a white bridal dress made of silk or red slacks.
Doc: That’s true. Haley, what’s your response to that?
Haley: I agree, but it is going to be sudden; that’s why I always want to be ready. I installed an elaborate alarm system in my attic with these extra powerful speakers so that when I fly through the roof, the alarm will sound. I want my neighbors to know. It’s my Christian duty to alarm everybody in my city. They’ll see it. I even got this huge sunroof in our Hummer and drive with it open so I won’t hurt my head by going through the roof if I am riding when the rapture comes.
Hecter: She wanted me to put tear away shingles on the house roof. When she told me that, I nearly went through the roof myself. It’s not just that, Larry and Doc, she even wants to give our Hummer away.
Haley: That’s right! Why do I need a Hummer if I’m going to fly away?
Larry: That reminds me of a song, “I’ll fly away, oh glory”. A true song. Truth.
Hecter: Oh jeepers! You are crazy! The only song I’m singing is “I’m here to stay, oh glory, and that Hummer is staying with me”. And, to back me up, read Isaiah 45:18 where it says the Lord created the earth to be inhabited. And check Psalms 37.
Doc: Well, there you have it, folks! Now let’s open up our phone lines and see what our listeners have to say about this topic. But first a word from our sponsor.
Come to ‘Ocean Annie’s’ where our oysters are served with pearls of wisdom. Our dinners are down to earth and our desserts are heavenly. No devil’s food cake here. We are located on the corner of Honest Avenue and Sincere Lane, in Truth, Louisiana.
[small_button text=”Continue” title=”Continue” url=”https://cojcf.com/satans-greatest-lie/#tab-2″ align=”right”] [/tab] [tab title=”WRMR Radio 2″]Doc: This is WRMR radio. We are back broadcasting “Rupture the Rapture”, and we have our first caller. Go ahead, caller. Hello.
First caller: Hello. Am I on the air?
Larry: Yes, you are, and today’s topic is the Rapture. What do you have to say?
First caller: This rapture thing is a lie from hell. I agree with your guest, Hecter. I, too, have the scripture. It’s in Psalms 37:9; “For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth”. Even Jesus said,”The meek shall inherit the earth.” The righteous people of the Lord shall inherit the land forever. We’re not going anywhere!
Larry: Thank you, caller. Haley, what do you think about that?
Haley: But we’re going. We are going….
Doc: Where?
Haley: In the air. On the air.
Doc: We are on the air.
Haley: No, in the air.
Doc: Isn’t the air here?
Haley: Oh, you are getting me all confused.
Larry: It’s time for a new caller.
Doc: The scripture, and the rest of Psalm 37 that the caller mentioned, sounds convincing.
Larry: It didn’t convince me. Let’s see what caller number two has to say. Go ahead, caller.
Caller #2 (Woman): Hello, Larry and Doc. I have been a fan of yours for years. And of course there is a rapture! I’ve even put a schedule and work list up on the refrigerator for my husband, so that when I am raptured, he will know what to do.
Larry: Well, wouldn’t it be better to try to get your husband raptured with you?
Caller #2: Oh, he doesn’t come to church. He thinks my pastor is a hypocrite. He’ll never make it to be raptured. So my part is to show him how to run the family.
Hector: That’s responsible.
Doc: Okay, caller. Thank you very much. Larry, the switchboard is going crazy. Look at all these calls. I hope we have time for all of them. Go ahead caller. You are on the air.
THE RAPTURE IS AGAINST CHRIST
Joyce: Hello, my son-in-law, Eric, and I are stuck in traffic on the way to Chattanooga, and stuck with each other too. My cell phone has a speaker-phone attachment so you can hear both of us. We are in hot dispute about your topic of discussion.
Larry: What is the dispute?
Joyce: I know there is a rapture. He says there isn’t.
Doc: What is your take on this, Eric?
Eric: I don’t believe anyone is going to fly away. Mom, you believe you are going to fly away?
Joyce: Yes.
Eric: Won’t your arms get tired?
Joyce: I don’t mean really fly.
Eric: How many types of fly are there? Don’t birds fly?
Joyce: We won’t flap our arms.
Eric: Oh, so you’ll grow wings?
Joyce: No.
Eric: Well, how will you fly?
Joyce: I don’t know how. I just know we’ll fly and I don’t want to be left behind.
Eric: Where is flying away mentioned in the scriptures? In Matthew 24, doesn’t it say “as the days of Noah were” and “two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left?”
Joyce: Yes.
Eric: How can you read anything else into this? What happened to Noah?
Joyce: He was taken.
Eric: No, he was left. The wicked were taken or destroyed from off the earth.
Joyce: But Noah was saved.
Eric: Correct. He didn’t go anywhere. There is no Ark Airlines.
Joyce: Oh drats! He’s got me on that one. And I have always prayed to be taken….
Eric: If you study Thessalonians, you’ll see it is not about being caught away but coming right back here. Paul makes it plain in II Thessalonians, “When he shall come to be glorified in his saints.” He is coming here and we’re not going anywhere. But he is coming. Even Enoch prophesied, “Behold the Lord cometh with 10,000 of his saints.” He is coming. We are not going. Jesus is coming for a church, in a church, and with a church. And that is here on the earth. You want to be left behind.
Joyce: Boy, that all makes sense. But… it’s so hard to not want to get out of here.
Hecter: Christ wants us here. John 17. Because of Jesus, evil never wins. God keeps us from evil.
Doc: Great discussion, but we are going to have to go on to the next caller.
Eric: Mom, it’s all in the scriptures.
Joyce: Now I know why my daughter married you, because you know the Word.
Eric: Mom, it’s because I love Jesus and his Word.
THE RAPTURE IS SATAN’S GREATEST LIE
Doc: Isn’t that beautiful, folks? It was resolved by the true Word of God and love. We have time for one more short call before a commercial break.
[small_button text=”Continue” title=”Continue” url=”https://cojcf.com/satans-greatest-lie/#tab-3″ align=”right”] [/tab] [tab title=”WRMR Radio 3″]Caller #4: I looked up the word ‘Rapture’ in the dictionary. “Rapture” is “a state of experience of being carried away by overwhelming emotions, or a mystical experience in which the spirit is exalted to a knowledge of divine things”. Nothing is said about your body leaving this earth to meet the Lord.
Haley: You mean all the great pastors are wrong? Can’t be. They’re all over the radio and on TV.
Caller #4: There shall be false teachers, that’s what Peter the Apostle says. And these are false. This is, according to Peter, a “damnable heresy.”
Doc: Well that sheds a different light on it. And it’s a perfect time to hear from our local sponsor.
Have you used Perfect Sight Eye Drops lately? Just use two drops, rub on, and it will make you see everything so clearly that it will overwhelm your emotions. Try some today.
That’s Perfect Sight Eye Drops by Seymour Better.
Larry: This is WRMR radio, Where Rubber Meets The Road. We are back discussing what is – according to the phone lines – obviously a very hot topic. And someone new has joined our guests, Hecter and Haley Hooch, in the studio. His name is Rick Hardstone. He’s a friend of Hecter’s. But I must ask him a question. Rick, why are you wearing a helmet?
Rick: Di… Did..Didn’t you hear that all the planets are lined up? So today is probably the day the Lord will come back and the rapture will take place. I don’t want my head to hurt if I’m in a building when it happens.
Hecter: Rick, don’t you know that there is no rapture?
Rick: What? Hecter, you better be careful. That’s sacrilegious.
Hecter: You’ve got to be kidding. Do you mean to tell me that you still believe there is a rapture? After our last two discussions. That doesn’t even make sense. Boy are you a hardhead!
Rick: Well what about I Thessalonians 4, Hector? My friend. Amigo. (“Me-Go-Amigo song”)
Hecter: What about it? There is no scriptural basis for the rapture. Those false teachers misinterpret Thessalonians. I call them Bail-Outs, because they are Diaper-wearing whimps. Let me quote I Thessalonians for you. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
Rick: You see! We are going to be raptured up to heaven when the Lord comes.
Hecter: The Lord shall descend from heaven, Hardstone. That means he is coming down, down to where He will come for his church. The clouds are the great cloud of witnesses spoken of in Hebrews. Of course, the dead will be brought up; they’re in holes in the ground. God will raise them up out of the earth to take their place along side those “which are alive and remain”. When it speaks of those that remain, it is saying they never went anywhere. They remained. In the air speaks of where air is, which is here, on earth, not somewhere else. I should call these false teachers “AirHeads” No, no, no. “Helium Heads.” That’s the only way they are going to fly.
[small_button text=”Continue” title=”Continue” url=”https://cojcf.com/satans-greatest-lie/#tab-4″ align=”right”] [/tab] [tab title=”WRMR Radio 4″]Doc: Okay, gentlemen. We’ve got to get back to our phone lines. Go ahead, next caller.
Caller #6: When in the history of the world has anyone escaped during God’s judgment? Noah didn’t leave the earth while the wicked were destroyed. The children of Israel escaped the death angel by entering into their homes and putting blood over the doorposts, not escaping to another country or flying off. Moses and the children of Israel crossed through the Red Sea, they didn’t fly over it. Look at the Book of Martyrs; China and the Sudan today. God’s people have always stayed on the earth.
Doc: Thank you, caller. I have two minutes left. Go ahead caller. You are on the air.
Caller #7: Thank you, Doc. My question to those who believe in the rapture is: Why have the armour of God if you’re going to escape? God has always made a way of escape but it hasn’t been by flying away from the enemy. It was facing up to it and going through it. The rewards in Revelation are to the “Overcomer” not to the “Flyer-Awayer”.
When Paul was caught up to the third heaven, was that in the Spirit or in the flesh? It was in the Spirit. It was not like he got on an elevator in a department store. Third floor, deep revelations and visions. Fourth floor to heliport! Leaving for the heavens. Paul went nowhere, but saw into the mysteries of God. Here.
THE WICKED ARE TAKEN AS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH
Larry: Thank you. And now radio audience, we have my Pastor on line. Welcome Pastor Ounces. What do you have to say about the Rapture?
Ounces: Hello, Larry. I have plenty to say. The Lord is calling us home soon and we shall fly off this earth into the sweet by and by. I went to the best Bible College in the country and was taught by the best theologians. I got straight A’s. And they said we are going to fly away and escape God’s judgment.
Larry: Well, there you have it, folks. We have heard from the expert…
Doc: Now hold the phone, Larry. This discussion is not concluded. It doesn’t matter what the Bible College’s philosophy is or what the theologians believe. It is rather, what does the Bible say, and your pastor hasn’t said anything about that. Pastor Ounces, what scripture can you give to support your belief?
Ounces: Well, it was just quoted by your guest, Hecter, only he has the wrong interpretation. I believe that only the pastors have the knowledge or understanding to interpret.
Doc: Oh really? Where is that written in the Bible?
Ounces: I have a degree in Scriptural Studies.
Hecter: Did Jesus have a degree? Did the apostles, unlearned men, have degrees? They knew the Word, and they never preached this lie.
Doc: Perhaps you should have spent more time reading the Bible than listening to theologians. Thank you for calling, pastor. And we only have time for one more call. I want to thank all the callers in today’s program. Go ahead. You are on the air.

The Rapture: The Lie”]

The Last Caller
THE RAPTURE: THE LIE
According to Scripture, God has always protected his people; and by his power and might, he has always delivered the righteous from evil. The Lord God constantly destroyed the wicked from off the face of the earth; he removed them. He is God and he changes not.
Teachers of Lies
Those who teach the rapture are deceived and are teaching a lie – a lie that is destroying the Church, and the purpose of the Church: to be a holy people, as Christ, ruling and reigning, kings and priests, a royal priesthood – on this earth. The deception, that the faithful will be removed from the earth before, during, or after the great tribulation, is Satan’s work, coming as an angel of light. God will never remove his Church; in fact, he does just the opposite; he brings those who have gone on, the great cloud of witnesses with him to join his perfect church here on the earth.
God Keeps The Righteous
In Genesis we know that God made man in his own image, to be fruitful and multiply and have dominion over all the earth. Deceived by the subtlety of Satan, Adam and Eve sinned and were judged by God. They were then sent forth from the garden, prohibited from living forever by the flaming sword of the Cherubims. Made as flesh and bone, sin changed them to flesh and blood. The curse of death took them.
Genesis further records that the world becomes corrupt and full of violence, and God determines to destroy the wicked from off the face of the earth. But Noah, perfect in his generation, being warned of God, prepares an ark to the saving of his house; the righteous remaining upon the earth during the great flood, yet protected from destruction. Is not this what Jesus said in his own words, “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be”? How the teachers of the rapture falsify the words of Jesus himself: the wicked were taken. Yet this lie of Satan remains entrenched in the Church, weakening her resolve, distorting the Gospel of the kingdom, and denying the power of God.
Even in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, the Lord sent two angels to Lot and his family telling them to escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. Knowing the truth of the Scripture, Jesus speaks likewise: “flee into the mountains.” Why? Because “then shall be great tribulation.” God does not change. He instructs, protects and leads the righteous; he removes the wicked.
God Continues To Protect
Under the bondage of the Egyptians, the children of Israel cried out for a deliverer and God sent Moses. God protected them against the ten plagues. Nothing touched his people, nor was anything consumed in Goshen. And Moses led them safely across the Red Sea onto dry land, the waters returning to swallow up the wicked of Pharaoh, so that there remained not so much as one of them. And again, when all but two complained and murmured, God caused Israel to wander in the wilderness until all that wicked generation was removed: the righteous going into the promised land.
And has not a greater than Moses come? And is his name not Jesus? Does he not live in us and by his Spirit lead us? Does he not protect his faithful? The teachers of the rapture have made the Church so weak by flying them away when God always keeps us here. God always sends deliverers. Remember Joshua, Othniel, Ehud, Deborah, Gideon, Jephthah, and Samson, all of whom God raised up to deliver Israel out of the hands of their enemies.
When a decree went forth to slay all of the Jews, they then wept, fasted and cried out unto God. He raised up Esther as queen, giving her favor in the sight of King Ahasuerus. By her and Mordecai was wicked Haman’s decree reversed, he and his sons being hung on his own gallows. The wicked were removed by God, making a way for the Jews to fight their enemies and to consume them. Scripture records very faithfully that the true ones are kept. His chosen went nowhere.
God Removes The Wicked
The Lord has always taken the wicked from off the earth. God spoke to Job out of the whirlwind that the wicked might be shaken out of the ends of the earth. In the Psalms: For yet a little while and the wicked shall not be; evildoers shall be cut off; the wicked shall perish, consuming away into smoke; and the transgressors shall be destroyed. And in Proverbs: The wicked shall be cut off from the earth and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it. It will be no different at the time of the end.
The testament of God shows his protection to David, from Saul and in every battle, except for judgment in the matter of Uriah. Elijah (and so, too, Enoch) was not raptured off the earth, but received the promise of life, God delivering him from death; and Elisha, who all his days was protected and feared not the Syrian host, even the touch of his bones bringing life. Isaiah writes that the Lord shall destroy the sinners out of the land; and, “Behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee;” and, “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save.” Jeremiah says that the Lord will pluck out the evil neighbors; and Jeremiah writes, behold, I am against the prophets that use their tongues, and say, He saith, when I have not sent them.
Against The Lying Prophets
As in Jeremiah, so too in Ezekiel; God speaks against those who preach the rapture:
Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts. Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the Lord. They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and the Lord hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The Lord saith it; albeit I have not spoken? Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord God. And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord God.
Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter: Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it. Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it? Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it. So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the Lord. Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it; to wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord God.
And does not Paul himself take a stand against the lie (from the very epistle that the rapture doctrine bases itself on – those teachers fully misinterpreting Paul’s words), and the deceiving of millions upon millions. And does not Paul himself tell the lying prophets: there shall be no escape? He does.
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (I Thessalonians 5:1-3)
Scholars of The Lie
How the teachers and lovers of the rapture have lied. In their paneled studies they devise lying wonders, scholars against Christ’s words, they are the foolish teaching the fooled. They are weakening the Church, their lips spreading deceit. False teachers, inventors of a lying doctrine, and conspirators against Christ’s own words, these do not know the strength of the Spirit, the continuing hand of protection, the supernatural of God.
Did not God save Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the burning fiery furnace, destroying those who cast them into it? And Daniel from certain death and from lions? In Hosea, God says he will take away the wicked and save his people himself.
And so do Amos, Obadiah, and Micah make known the righteousness of God by cutting off the wicked. Zephaniah declares, “The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save.” Joel prophesies of that great and strong people, before whom the earth shall quake in the day of the Lord, who shall execute judgment on the ungodly.
Definition of The Lie
Again and again, God saves; he protects; his people go through. Yet the Rapturists tell us that there is a lifting away, an escape; a snatching up.
Rapture (rap’·ture) means n. 1. The state of being transported by a lofty emotion; ecstasy. 2. An expression of ecstatic feeling. 3. The transporting of a person from one place to another, especially to heaven.
Transported? God removing his own from off the earth; yet Scripture never holds this to be true. False visions and understandings have infiltrated the Church masquerading as truth. Darby and Scoffield continued this lying doctrine: and many more do so today. Men and women, hundreds upon hundreds teaching the Lie. Deception in the Church is rampant.
As it is written, God made promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that their seed would inherit the land forever. He removes the wicked, keeping the righteous, who, as he assures in Psalms, “inherit the land and dwell therein forever;” and in Proverbs, that “the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.” Knowing this way of his Father, Jesus states out of the Psalms, “the meek shall inherit the earth.” His words defy this trumped-up doctrine.
When asked what would be the sign of his coming and of the end of the world, Jesus answered that the coming of the son of man would be as in the days of Noah, when the flood came and took them all away. Though there will be eating and drinking and giving in marriage, the wicked will be destroyed. The righteous will remain in the safety of Christ. Therefore, of the two in the field or the two women grinding at the mill, which will be taken? The wicked. How these inventors have re-tooled the words of Jesus.
Jesus’ Own Words
The great words of Christ in Matthew 24 and Luke 17, speaking of these last days, makes clear that the kingdom is here on earth: in us. When demanded when the kingdom of God should appear, Jesus says, “The kingdom of God cometh not with observation, for behold the kingdom of God is within you.” And when asked of his disciples, ‘when shall the end come?’, Jesus said, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” The kingdom of God is within you. Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, in his people: by his Spirit. To declare otherwise is to be a deceiver and an antichrist.
Jesus comes in and for a perfect Church, a pure Church, a Bride: he – by the Holy Ghost – makes us holy as he is holy; merciful as he is merciful. When Jesus says in the Sermon on the Mount, “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth,” does he seek ones like the prophets, or the psalmist? How can that be, as he says that John is the greatest of the prophets; and the least in the kingdom is greater than John. So, he is referring to himself, for he says, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” That rest is ceasing from one’s own works, and doing the will of the Father; no will of our own.
Jesus’ words, true and perfect, keep the Church here: like him, as overcomers; like him, triumphant; because of him, kept by the Father. Jesus says let the wheat grow up with the tares, then remove the tares and burn them; of the wise virgins who wait and have oil, to go into the marriage, the foolish rejected; of the servants who use their Lord’s talents well, called good and faithful, to rule over much, with the slothful and wicked cast into outer darkness: and this at the Lord’s coming. Ever true, Jesus continues to make clear his coming here when he separates the gathered of all nations: his sheep from the goats. Then Jesus says, “Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” His words. Jesus finally says it all in his great prayer to the Father about his own: “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.” Do you see why God hates this lie? Satan feeding his lies again, as in the day of Adam: Did God say? He will be your covert? He will never leave you? He will be with you? He is your strength in time of need? No, he did not. You are to fly away. Off the earth.
Hear, O false prophets and preachers and teachers, liars to my people, from the beloved John, who faithfully recorded Jesus’ words on the night before he suffered and died for us:
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
Jesus keeps us in the world. This lie of Satan takes us out of the world. How wicked is the lie. Will you deny Jesus’ prayer to the Father? Will you continue to pervert, his words, the Word: Jesus. Will this word not judge you? Denying the power of God, you fight against our Savior’s words by your lying proofs of escaping. Yet Paul says there shall be no escape. He means to those who have fought his understanding: false teachers.
Paul Agrees With Jesus
In his first letter to the Thessalonians, Paul is writing to a church that walks closely with God. Nearly perfect, they had great faith, were eager to fellowship, and had abundant love one for another; therefore, when some died, they sorrowed greatly for their loss. Paul comforted them concerning those that had gone on; that they would be resurrected, and they would see each other and be together again. Paul continues to say that those who are asleep will first rise and, if the Rapturists knew the Scriptures, it is clear that these who sleep are coming back with Christ. (Note: Paul writes that those “which sleep in Jesus, will God bring with him.” God is bringing back, not taking away.) This gathering will take place right here in the air on the earth. The Rapturists have lied to their brothers and sisters in Christ about “air.” Paul always uses “air” in reference to ‘here on earth.’
And where is the air? Certainly not in outer space. Air only exists for a few miles above the earth’s surface. The Scriptures speak of the air as the place where birds fly and which surrounds us on the earth and allows us to breathe. There is nothing magical about the Scriptures. Paul is plainly stating that the Lord Jesus will be coming with those who have been resurrected to those that remain right here on the earth.
Furthermore, Paul states “we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds.” Again, the Rapturists continue the myth. If you study the Scriptures, “caught up” means “in a heavenly realm,” or “in the Spirit.” Paul and John both speak of this “caught up”. Paul, when he speaks of being in the third heaven; John, when he writes that he was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day. Paul says to us that we sit in heavenly places now. How the Rapturists have duped the church with their doctrinal sleight of hand. Their magic show is spiritual witchcraft.
Lastly, “clouds” refers to clouds of glory (check the Old Testament where “God went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud” and read about the transfiguration when Peter, James and John “entered into the cloud”) and the great cloud of witnesses that is clearly written of in Hebrews and the second epistle to the Thessalonians. It is in this second epistle that Paul makes sure no one is deceived by this false teaching. They failed to understand Chapter 1, verse 10. Nor did they comprehend Jude.
For the Rapturists: after Paul speaks of this gathering, he affirms that the day of the Lord will come suddenly, as a thief in the night. And a sudden destruction with no escape upon those who say “Peace and safety”. You who believe you will be raptured away into peace and safety have been seduced by a vain vision and lying divination. This is that wall daubed with untempered mortar spoken of by the prophet Ezekiel. It shall fall, and you will be consumed in the midst of it. You are in darkness and are not the children of light.
Instead of waiting to be carried away, Paul instructs us to put on our spiritual armor, so that day will not overtake us as a thief. He prays for the very God of peace to sanctify us wholly; and that our whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul wrote his second letter to the Thessalonians to make it clear that Jesus was coming to be glorified in his saints. He is coming; the Church is not going anywhere. Paul keeps us in the world, but holy and without blemish.
These false teachers say that the mystery Paul wrote about to the Corinthians is the rapture. That is a lie. In the Scriptures, the mystery he speaks of always refers to Christ living in his saints. In Colossians, Paul writes of the mystery which has been hidden from ages and generations, “which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
And in Ephesians, Paul states that the mystery of the will of God is that in the dispensation of the fullness of time, he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth. Now we know those that are in heaven are going to come back with him, and they will be changed and have put on this glorious body, and we are caught up to be with them in the air, with the same identical body, and we will all be as one; God the Father, Jesus Christ, those that are dead and those that are alive. This is the hope. This is the plan of God. And where did he say it? Here on the earth.
Jude states that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, “Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds.” This is that army seen by the prophet Joel. The saints of the Most High will not be spirited away, but are here on the earth, mighty and invincible, to carry out judgment for the Lord during this time of tribulation.
Finally, In Revelation
John, the last person to write in the Bible, tells us in Revelation what will happen to the overcomer. In all of the promises spoken to the Church, John never says the overcomer will be raptured to the sky. Jesus himself says, “Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” He showed us it was possible to overcome and in fact, we must do the same; conquer the works of the flesh. To those who overcome are granted the promises of life, power, rulership and authority on this earth. This is the plan of God. And it is here on the earth. Jesus is coming for a perfect Church here on the earth.
The problem with the rapture doctrine is that the Christians are duped into believing that God is going to magically zap them into the sky to escape what will befall the earth. God has never done things that way. Jesus was not zapped anywhere and neither was anybody else. The plan of God for man is to overcome the flesh nature, which is against God and to be totally submissive to the will of the Lord.
Teachers Against Christ
And His Words
LaHaye and Jenkins, you are doctors of death. You fashion wondrous lies, manufacturing golden spaceships: gold and silver coffins for the fly-away believer. Fishers of lies are you, piloting lies. For when tribulation and great tribulation come, there shall be no escape into the atmosphere above the earth, suffering and loss no more. Then shall you see your folly and weep – for you taught for truth lies of Satan. Keepers of a mystical doctrine, doctors of the Rapture, feigned lovers of his Word, you are truly anti-Christ in your entertainment of teaching. Glamour, fame and money precede your love for the Word of God and Christ Jesus.
Jesus warned us about these kinds of men. Satan has beguiled them. And there are a host of other such deceivers: among them are, alphabetically: Copeland, Hegge, Hinn, Jeffery, Lindsay, Smith, Van Impe and the longest list of deceived ones ever assembled (if we collected them). Scholars of lying divination, you lead the unschooled into the corridors of possible damnation. Saying you feed meat, you fill my people’s bellies with the whitened cake of Satan. You continue to prepare goblets of swine’s blood, causing sickness and disease. The pit lays open to you. Flee to the Mount of Christ and humbly ask his forgiveness. It may be that he will hear you. Reject him not, O teachers not sent by the Spirit.
Rapturists, go to the Book of Martyrs, whose blood cries out. Go to the persecuted of the Sudan, of Iraq, of China: they will tell you there is no rapture; daily they stand in Him. Go to those who, in Revelation, shall be beheaded for Jesus Christ. These are they who stand, and their redemption is at hand. They will not forsake or take the mark. Will the weakened? Of those who believe in the rapture, this greatest of lies, many will.
Jesus, His True Words
Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and he did. Jesus destroyed death, the last enemy. By his beautiful words, the lie is uncovered. Remember, “I have overcome the world.” Receive again his true words: “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.” Did God lift them off the earth? No. Not then, not ever.
Satan’s Greatest Lie
The Rapture is the sand that only a fool builds his house on, for when the rains of devastation descend, and the floods of destruction crash against the foundation, and the fierce winds of tribulation beat against his house, it will fall. Therefore, let us be wise and build our house on the one and only foundation of rock, and that rock is the truth of Jesus Christ.
Jesus said,
Keep them Father.
He meant it.

Doc: Well now you’ve heard it. That is a perfect ending to our program.
Larry: I’m going to be ready. I’m with you, Haley. I’m going to iron my slacks and wear them to bed.
Doc: Larry, didn’t you hear what the callers said? Didn’t you hear the scriptures?
Larry: I heard Haley and my pastor and I want a helmet like Rick has.
Doc: Well, then when will you be raptured? Will it be pre-trib, mid-trib or post-trib? Or perhaps we should rename it to pre-crib, mid-crib and post-crib because all this is, is a big cry-baby theory. You don’t believe that Christ can take you through it. You do not know the Word.
Larry: I do so. I go to church every week and hear it there.
Doc: Oh! What does that amount to? A short paragraph?
Larry: Now Doc…
Doc: Well my name isn’t Doc Ument for nothing, and, Larry, you need to document this program. Open your eyes and your ears. Search it out for yourself.
This is Doc Jasper Ument and Larry Pharisee saying, have a good morning. Say ‘Good morning’, Larry.
Larry Pharisee: Good morning Larry.
Donald: (Radio turned off) Well Mac, what do you think about that program?
Mac: I need to go read the Bible. Many good points were brought up that I’ve never seen before. My belief in the rapture was just ruptured and has flown out the window.
Donald: Good for you. You need the meat of the Word. Let’s go celebrate and eat steak instead of flying french fries.
